Comments let your team annotate conversations, email threads, and individual messages during review. You can add comments at the conversation level, on individual messages, or on email threads.
Add a comment to a conversation
Open a phone or social media conversation and click "Comments" in the toolbar. The Conversation Comments panel opens on the right side of the screen.
Select the "Conversation" tab, type your comment in the "Add a comment..." field, and click "Post".
Your comment appears in the panel with your name, the date, and a "Reply" link for other team members to respond.
Add a comment to a specific message
Click on a specific message in a phone or social media conversation to select it.
The Evidence Panel opens on the right side of the screen. It displays the selected message text, any applied tags, and a Comments section. Type your comment and click "Reply".
Your comment appears below the message preview with your name and timestamp. You can add additional comments using the "Add a comment..." field.
Add a comment to an email thread
Open a collected email by selecting the email source in the Data Sources sidebar. Click "Comments" in the toolbar above the email.
The Email Thread Comments panel opens on the right. Type your comment in the "Add a comment..." field and click "Post".
Your comment appears in the panel with your name, the date, and a "Reply" link.
Add a comment to a social media message
Open a social media conversation by selecting the source in the Data Sources sidebar. The toolbar includes the same "Comments" button for conversation-level comments.
To comment on a specific message, click the message to open the Evidence Panel. Type your comment in the Comments section and click "Reply".
Your comment appears with your name and timestamp. The commenting flow for social media messages works the same way as phone messages.
Jump to a commented message
To view all comments on a conversation, click "Comments" in the toolbar. Conversation-level comments appear under the "Conversation" tab.
Click the "Messages" tab to view message-level comments. A comment icon appears next to messages that have comments, allowing you to quickly locate annotated messages in the conversation.
