Review collected emails from Gmail, Outlook, or Yahoo accounts in Case Data. Browse email threads, search by keyword, classify emails, tag threads, add comments, and print individual emails.
Browse collected emails
Select the email account under Imported Emails in the Data Sources panel. The email list shows all collected threads with the sender, subject line, preview text, and date. Click any email to open it.
Use Search emails at the top of the list to find emails by keyword. Click Expand all or Collapse all at the bottom of the sidebar to control the Data Sources tree.
Open an email
Click an email thread to open it. The header shows the thread subject, message count, and participants. Each email in the thread displays the sender, recipients, date, subject, and full body content.
The top bar provides:
Classify — Mark the thread as Responsive or Non-Resp
Tag — Apply tags to the email thread
The toolbar below the header includes:
Search evidence... — Search within the email thread
Comments — Open the comments panel
Print — Export the email as a downloadable file
Click the back arrow (←) next to the thread subject to return to the email list.
Search emails
Type a keyword in the Search emails... bar at the top of the email list. Results filter to show only emails matching your search term. The result count appears next to the email account name. Matching keywords are highlighted in the email preview text.
Open a search result
Click a search result to open the full email. The email body renders with all original formatting, images, and links. Click the back arrow (←) to return to the search results.
Tag an email thread
Click Tag in the top bar to open the tag panel. The "Tags on this conversation" section lists available tags with checkboxes. Check a tag to apply it to the thread. Type a new tag name in "New tag... (Enter to add)" and press Enter to create and apply a new tag.
Add comments
Click Comments in the toolbar to open the Email Thread Comments panel on the right. Type a comment in the text field and click Post. Existing comments show the author, date, and a Reply link. An orange dot on the Comments button indicates the thread has comments.
Print an email
Click Print in the toolbar to export the email. A notification appears in the bottom right showing the export progress.
When the export is ready, click Download in the notification to save the file.
