This article explains how to download your LinkedIn data archive so it can be uploaded through the Hearsay Extractor.

This article shows the steps to download your LinkedIn data archive from LinkedIn. You'll request a copy of your data, wait for LinkedIn to prepare it, and download the file.

Step 1: Go to your LinkedIn profile

Log in to LinkedIn on a computer. Click the Me icon at the top of the page.

Step 2: Open Settings & Privacy

Click Settings & Privacy from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Go to Data privacy

Click Data privacy in the left sidebar, then click Download your data.

Step 4: Request your data archive

Select Download larger data archive and click Request archive.

LinkedIn will confirm your request. Your download will be ready in about 24 hours.

Step 5: Wait for your data export emails

You'll receive two emails from LinkedIn. The first email, with the subject line "The first installment of your LinkedIn data archive is ready!," contains a partial archive. You do not need to download this file.

The second email, with the subject line "Your full LinkedIn data archive is ready!," contains the complete data file. Click the download link in the email to open LinkedIn.

Step 6: Download your file
