How to invite a team member to your account

Invite a new user to your firm's Hearsay account

This article walks you through inviting a new user to your organization's Hearsay account.

Only invite your firm's internal team members here. To add someone to a specific case (such as a client with view-only access), see Managing access to a case.


Step 1: Click Invite Team Member

From the Team tab in the left panel, make sure the Members tab is selected. Click + Invite Team Member in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Enter invitation details

In the Invite Team Member modal, enter the person's Email address and select a Role from the dropdown.

  • Member: Can access cases and collaborate with the team.

  • Admin: Can manage team members and organization settings.

Step 3: Send Invitation

Click Send Invitation.

Admin Permissions: Admins can view and export data from all cases in the account.

Confirm success

The invited user appears in the Members list with a Pending invitation label. The page header shows a pending count badge.
