Review uploaded files in Case Data — documents, images, audio recordings, videos, and other files collected from a device or uploaded manually.

Browse uploaded files

Select Files in the Data Sources panel. The file list shows all uploaded files with the file name, type, size, and date. Tagged files display their tag badges below the file details.

Use Search files... to find files by name. Click Tags to filter the list by applied tags. Click Upload Data to Case to add files manually.

Filter files by type

Use the filter tabs to narrow the file list by type: All, Images, Documents, Videos, Audio, or Other. The file count in the header updates to show how many files match the selected filter.

Open a document

Click a document to open it in the built-in viewer. PDFs render with page thumbnails on the left and the full document on the right. The viewer toolbar includes page navigation, rotate, zoom, fit-to-width, and fit-to-page controls.

Use the buttons in the top right:

  • Download — Save the file to your computer

  • Comments — Open the comments panel for the file

  • Snip — Capture a selection from the document

Tags applied to the file appear below the file name. Click the back arrow (←) to return to the file list.

Play an audio file

Click an audio file to open the audio player. Press the play button (▶) to listen. The player shows the current position, total duration, a progress bar, and volume controls. Use Download to save the file or Comments to add notes.

Tag a file

When viewing a file, tags appear as icons below the file name. Click a tag to select or deselect it — applied tags are highlighted. Tags added to files also appear as badges in the file list view.
