This step-by-step guide walks you through how to authenticate a Gmail account for a batch collection. This process does not require a computer and can be completed on a phone.
Step 1: Select Emails from your guided plan
Open the Hearsay Upload portal and log in with your extraction code. Your guided plan lists each requested data source with a time estimate and guides you through them in order. When you reach the Emails step, continue to connect your email account and select the emails to share.
Step 2: Select email provider
Select your email provider and to start the authentication flow.
Step 2: Choose or confirm account
Select the specific account that will be collected.
Step 3: Click Continue
Click Continue.
Step 4: Click Allow
Click Allow.
Proceed to Search, select, and import
Once authenticated, you can search for individual emails to import or import emails in bulk. Use the Find Specific Emails tab for targeted searches, or the Import Emails in Bulk tab for larger collections.
