Share bank records on the Bank Records step of the Upload Portal. Hearsay uses Plaid, a secure service used by thousands of apps, to connect to your bank. Your bank username and password are never shared with Hearsay.
Plaid typically provides up to two years of history. If your legal team needs older records, download PDF statements from your bank and upload them on the Files step.
Step 1: Click Connect Bank Account
Click Connect Bank Account. Plaid opens in a pop-up window. If nothing appears, allow pop-ups for upload.usehearsay.com in your browser and refresh the page.
Step 2: Enter your phone number
Enter your phone number and click Continue.
Enter the code Plaid texts you and click Continue.
Step 3: Select your bank
If you have connected a bank through Plaid before, your saved institutions appear. Select one and click Confirm, or click + Add new account.
For a new connection, search for your bank or pick it from the list.
Step 4: Log in to your bank
Click Continue to login. Your bank's own sign-in page opens.
Sign in directly with your bank. Hearsay does not collect your credentials.
Step 5: Check your linked accounts
Your linked accounts appear on the Bank Records page. To add another bank, click + Connect Another Institution. When everything is linked, click Next source.
