How do I manage collection requests?

Track request status, order equipment, request assistance, upload data, and lock a collection.

The Collection Requests page inside a case shows every request and each data source's progress. From here you order equipment, request assistance, upload data yourself, and lock a collection when it is done.

Open the Collection Requests page

Open the case and click Collection Requests in the left sidebar. Each request has its own tab.

Request header

The header shows the custodian, the extraction code, and the request status. Remind re-sends the custodian their code and portal link, Edit opens the extraction code settings, and View Data opens anything collected so far. Requests sent to opposing counsel show OC badges instead; see How do I send a collection request to opposing counsel?.

Data Sources table

One row per data source with its status, size, and completion date. View opens collected data in Case Data. + Add adds a source that was not in the original request.
