How to export collected emails

This article explains how to export collected email from the Hearsay web portal.

This article walks you through accessing the Case Exports dashboard, creating a new export for Email data, selecting the email account and messages you want to export, and downloading the exported PDFs once processing is complete.


Step 1: Navigating to the Export Dashboard

The Case Exports dashboard is where you can create new exports, view the status of current jobs, and download files that have been exported.

To access it, click the Case Exports tab on the left panel of the Case Home page.


Step 2: Click New Export

Click New Export. If you have already exported data for this case, the New Export button will be in the top right corner of the screen.


Step 3: Select Data Source

Click the dropdown arrow to select Email as the export data source.


Step 4: Select Emails

If multiple email accounts were collected from, select the email account. Then, select the emails to export.


Step 5: Click Export

Click Export to trigger the download processing.


Step 6: Download PDFs

After clicking Export, you will be redirected to the Exports dashboard. The download will begin to process automatically.

Once processing is completed, click Download to download the PDFs.
